Petraeus for President?

If more newspapers and other legitimate organs of media held to the same honesty, practicality, and vision of the New York Sun, perhaps we would have a much different Congress, and common national mood and perspective. Your idea for General Petraeus to threaten, with all sincerity, to resign and run for the presidency is a superlative bit of imaginative, suggestive commentary; I would only tack on that the Sun editorial staff should be engaged to manage his campaign, and write his speeches.
