Rangel's Priority Is Repealing the AMT

Submitted by Dorothy Wachsstock, Sep 7, 2007 10:26

Americans are awakening to the fact that our representatives think they are Kings and Queens and can increase our taxes and spend it for their own benefits. Sen. Feinstein, $4 billion dollars to benefit Beverly Hills, Rangel for his very own library and center..is he the President? What fantasy in the media is not against all of this waste as Congress tells us we have a deficit and they continue to spend our taxes as they increase them?

We certainly can put our money to better use than Congress is doing. And they have the nerve not to increase our soldier's pay! Paying for their mortgages while they are in Iraq would be a better way to spend 4 billion dollars..let Sen. Feinstein get her Hollywood friends to have a fundraiser for Beverly Hills.

Our founding fathers did not have in mind that those that went to represent their constituents should make people from other parts of the country pay for their wealthy demands while they did not protect American citizens. Will not inspecting Mexican trucks driving through our country without being inspected increase our competitiveness or put us at risk? Much silence about that subject. Why? Clinton signed that when he signed Nafta. Will that be of a benefit or put the entire country at risk of some truck bringing in weapons or at the worse, a "dirty bomb" as it is called?

If Rangel is truly interested in Fairness, then let him get on board with Neal Boortz's "Fair Tax." [MORE]
