Democrats on the Run

Submitted by vincenzo4, Sep 10, 2007 13:04

During the 1990s, when the intelligence community was harpooned and sidetracked and discouraged from being intrusive, when bloodletting of Americans was a regular occurrence and escalating, there was no demand for accountability. There was no revulsion in Hollywood or in the halls of Democratic sterness we see all of a sudden.

There were no trendy intelligentsia-liberal,trendy-free Tibet, gourmet-affluent-arrogant-liberal intellectual discussions or marches or demonstrations anywhere demanding to know why American blood was being shed. Human rights groups and the ACLU itself was unconcerned and could not be bothered. It's really kewl being a trendy Democrat-as long as someone is carrying your load.

This revolting lack of putting the nation first-and I lost a friend in one of those attacks-shows me the democrats are unprepared for the gathering clouds that prospered without confrontation during the last Presidency-all over the world.

The last the President did little if anything other than allow for the law enforcement pursuit of military style tactical attacks. Over the last four decades of Democratic control, the intelligence community was allowed to become dysfunctional and not at all pro-active. The democrats have shown themselves corroborated as appeasing cowards who have hidden behind that which this President inherited-and had little to do with as a Governor during the 1990s.
