The Ds are starting to remind me of the chicken running on spinal cord reflex circuits; R & P bet the farm on failure, and got sandbagged by reality. They are no longer effectively running their caucuses. It seems to be heading to the point where D-reps/sens will be caught between accepting one of two Kisses of Death. One: permitting warfunding and being savaged by MoveOn et al.; Two: continuing to endorse the R & P inanities and alienating the swing votes which decide the vast majority of outcomes.

Looks good on them.
