HMMM it seems to me that any New Yorker knows if you went to Little Italy in the last century you would hear nothing but Italian, China town signs are written in Chinese. I've never been there but my sister went to German town with her German language class to hear that language being spoken. My Irish ancesters found "no Irish need apply" signs and many many people with the point of view that they were more loyal to the Pope then their new country. People should remember where they came from and remember that the American culture is and always has been an amalgam of "gung ho" (a phrase from the Chinese) people who all brought and clung to their own culture and added to the wonderful culture we share. I grew up eating spaghetti from Lorenzo's, dumplings from Main Moon, and sauerkraut on my hot dog. Now I have added enchiladas to my list of favorite AMERICAN food. Let's do more than just get along, Let's enjoy each other!
