Ron Paul isn't saying that a few neoconservatives conspired to invade and occupy Iraq -- he is saying that the American people are not the same thing as the government, and shouldn't be held responsible for everything it does, especially when the government continues the occupation in clear contravention to the desires of the American people.
And why keep trying to smear Ron Paul with the idea that a few of his supporters are 9/11 Truthers? Most Paul critics gave that up back in June.
