I have listened Mr. Prager's show on several occasions. Unlike many talk show hosts, even the conservative ones -- he is an absolutely clear-headed smart intellectual. He reminds me of Alan Keys. What a pity that at present day, we in the US prefer to choke and bash those who speak what's on everyone's mind, as appose to dealing and facing the issues. Keys, Prager and others The US is one of the most accepting nations in the world. It's a testament to our values that more faiths have lived and prospered here, side by side than anywhere in the world. Yet, we're continuously being accused by Muslims that our culture is rubbish, that American are bigots, etc. I'm American Hindu, there no country in the world, with Britain being distant 2nd, I would consider living in. I absolutely love the US and the opportunity it has offered me. I'm shocked at how little we, as Americans, value what we have and pride ourselves. We are ridden with self guilt over what others think of us. And what are those others themselves? What do you think are the chances of a Christian/Hindu coming to Sudan/Yemen/Syria, etc. and getting elected into public office. Frankly, what are the chances of them not getting killed period, for their religion, color, background? I witnessed persecution of other religions perpetrated by Muslims personally. Nothing to mention equality of life or opportunities. Actions speak louder than words. France and Russia are our harshest judges among western nations. Yet, we've seen how French treat their own minorities and the riots that it's caused. Nothing needs to be said about Russia -- Russian contempt for Muslims, xenophobia for other religions or cultures are unprecedented. We as Americans should drop this self hate and start respecting our values and our culture, traditions. The opportunities are there for the willing and if you get elected to public office, it comes with responsibilities. Whether Hindu, Christian or Muslim -- the person who is entrusted the office is first of all is an American. If they have a problem with swearing legions to office and the tradition, there are plenty of ways to apply for change -- that's what the elected process is for. Yet hijacking the electorate office to turn it into a soapbox for trashing our own institutions should not be allowed. Period. Once we start respecting ourselves, others will respect us as well. If they don't want to -- fine, don't accept our aid, don't use our goods, listen to our music, read our books -- that your right. But that would be too much to ask...
