Meanwhile, in Syria

The editorial, Meanwhile in Syria, is correct in agreeing with Israel defending itself by striking the Iranian supplied Hezbollah in Syria. However, the editorial implies that Israel should continue to seek "peace" with its neighbors by negotiation, i.e., capitulation; ceding God-given, bloodbought territory to enemies of Israel; funding, arming, and training Israel's enemies, which has been an unmitigated disaster. The editorial also implies that Israel should continue to depend on the USA for survival, and thus yield to "diplomatic" pressures exerted by the USA requiring Israel to make suicidal concessions to Israel's enemies, in the pursuit of a fool's "peace" which according to the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible will never be realized until after Messiah returns. Israel's only wise choice is to stand for its defense consistently, and not back down due to pressure from "friend" or foe, "ally" or enemy.
