The Pavarotti of Pop

Is there anyone reading this who can explain why, after all of these years, a singer of Bennett's caliber has so much of his music out of print? Where is "When Lights Are Low," "Hometown, My Town," or "My Heart Sings" on compact disc, to mention but a few. If he really is "the best singer in the business," how come so much of his recorded legacy is available only to those who haunt used record stores?
