if you are going off some poor matches shown on FSC to base your opinion of the overall quality of the EPL this year I think that is a total mistake. While FSC has shown some duds this year there has been lots of good matches as well. This weekend that you are writing about, there was some great matches on Setanta (if you are lucky to get it on the Dish) Sadly FSC is not getting all the good games this year like in years past. You cant base the whole league on what FSC shows locally in the US...you are leaving out tons of matches we dont even see if thats the case
