the article is a typical article from an American journalist. It is no wonder US basketball fans are misinformed for matters not related to American players. The case of the Eurobasket and the journalist not understanding what exactly is the tournament about is just one example of numerous mistakes american journalists make. I dont believe they are mistakes steming from human error. They come from the general ignorance they treat the rest of the world. A simple example is the fact that in almost every article i read the NBA champion is called the world's champion which is quite ironic.
