Democrats Rebuff Petraeus, Propose Steep Troop Cuts

This country has long disliked leaders who made them be what they claim to be. America has claimed to be a nation who will help all. However, we cannot releave a desolate nation from a leader who might as well be called a serial killer. People, we were bombed!! What more do you want to happen before we eliminate terrorists like Osama Bin Laden and groups like the Al Qeada. Those who are over seas signed up to be in the army. The signed up for war (it's in the oath), but those who were lost in September 11, 2001 did not sign up for what happened to them. Neither they nor their families had a say. Now, American's want us to pull all of our men out of Iraq because we, as Americans, are bored. We don't want to fight anymore. What would the generation who came before us say. My great grandfather would say "In my day, people had guts and morals, and they used them". I think that those brave people who stuck it out during epics such as World War I and World War II would be ashamed of our biased attitude. Of how men who are biased are published even though it isn't worth the paper it's written on. Do you think our commanding general wants to stay over seas? People, he has a family, too! Why would he lie? He has no reason to stay in Iraq when he doesn't have to, unless it's the right thing to do. Americans have let the fact that our president does not believe in abortion, or giving illigal immagrents social security, or any thing else that is morally wrong get in the way of our oppinions on Iraq and the war.
