Why not! If not for building fires, why not a fleet to be used for water rescues, highway accidents. I'am sure the EMS would endorse a helicopter to remove trauma victims to a trauma center quicker than it can be done by the highway. Commissioner S..should think out of the box once in a while..The public deserves these helicopters for a wide array of uses...To save life and property..Ret R-4 FDNY 25 yrs.
