Well, I can see the Communist Party is alive and well, and commenting on this article by "blaming Bush". Who are you going the blame after Jan. 2009?? And your lack of history is amazing, as if we only remember what happend in the last 7 years. Mr. Bogdanich says, see what hapopens when you point offensive weapons in Europe. Wrong on two points: 1) the weapons system can't be used offesivley, it is purely an anti-missle system,; and 2) when Reagan put offensive missles in Europe ( and we were told he would start a nuclear war by doing so) what happened was the Soviet Union collapsed.
SInce you hate this country so much, why do you stay here?? Go to Canada, or Cuba or Russia (since the Soviet Union no longer exists). The reason Putin is doing this is the same reason ALL DICTATORS act out against a perceived external foe; it diverts the country's attention from the poor economy, and anti-democratic actions at home. See, i.e., Hitler's Germany, Castro's Cuba, and Chavez's Venezuala.
Remeber, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
