Lawyering The War To Death

Well, I can see both sides: 19 mos as a grunt & squad leader in the RVN; 30 years as a litigator, much of it trying to reign in an over-weening executive. What goes around, comes around. Someday in the not-to-distant future they will rue the day they em-meshed the country in this nonsense. Someone will start a knife fight somewhere important, we'll show up armed with a subpoena, and the bad guys will laugh as they cut our throat. Executive power daily extends its reach in to our daily lives. You'd think they would pay attention to that.'
