Stuyvesant High School's Status Burnished by New Book

Submitted by Mohamed F. El-Hewie, Sep 19, 2007 22:49

I have the pleasure to fight Patricia T. Cosgrove, the ex-principal of Bergen Tech, in court for a year and half and cause her to be replaced with D. Jaye.

Cosgrove, however, had left a heavy burden for Jaye to deal with. After the death of Dr. Grieco, Robert Aloia became the new superintendent of Bergen Tech in 2004. Both Aloia and Cosgrove had totally disregarded the State regulation of adhering to the standards of profession. Teachers with mediocre academic skill became supervisors and administrators based on personal connections rather than experience in education.

In 2005/2006 alone, Patricia Cosgrove chased four math teachers out of the academies. Three of which had doctorate degrees and one had master. Dr. Orlov, Dr. Early, and Dr. El-Hewie (the author) were forced to leave while Leonid Yuz was cheated out of certification with falsified documentation by Robert Aloia and Patricia Cosgrove.

The laws suit Mohamed F, EI-Hewie v. Board of Education of the Vocational Schools in the County of Bergen, OAL Dkt No, EDU-7673-06 had addressed those wrong doing during March -June 2007, which resulted in the replacement of Cosgrove by Jaye.

I guess Jaye is running away for one bureaucracy yet to get sucked into another, with only new challenges that he is unaware of. That would test the skill of the man in resisting the temptation of corrupt influences that plagued Bergen Tech.
