Why McCain Won't Win

Submitted by James Sibold, Sep 20, 2007 00:57

This article smells of lemons to me. I suggest the author do some homework before he sits down at the keyboard again. Unless he is blind, dumb or stupid (or hasn't seen the latest Gallup poll this week), John McCain is well on his way to being the parties nominee. How do I make such a statement? Easy, he is is the only one left standing in January 2008. But more importantly, the Republican party elders know it too. George H.W. Bush and company are now behind McCain. First, it was the bringing on board of Robert Morsbacher as Chairman. Second, the not so subtle maximum campaign donation of Colin Powell to the McCain campaign last month. And third, "41's" most recent video cut for the McCain campaign last week. Rudy and Fred have one of those too, right? No my friend, write what you want, but the fact you even had to write this article at all tells me John McCain is back. It will be an honor to have the real deal as our Commander in Chief and not an actor who plays one. James Sibold Dekalb County, Georgia Republican Party Chairman
