The academics, who have invited the President of Iran to participate in learned discussions of pending international questions of ethical import, are probably not interested in any wisdom that this President of Iran may be moved to utter. His beliefs are of absolutely no consequence to these professors of the arts and humanities. They nightly rest secure and serene in their bowers knowing that uniformed men place themselves constantly in harm's way to protect them from their follies. The unspoken, but public, motive is the insult of patriots and this spectacular demonstration of their disdain for the "deluded fools" who make possible this flaunting of their superiority
