Even the simplest Economics texts make a distinction between a measured deficit and a structural deficit (or full employment deficit). Why not begin to use the distinction in your editorials. Or, should we leave that to useless things like midterm exams? Supply side policies are aimed at the long term structural deficit. What do the numbers show there? Now that's an interesting question.
