Cognitive Dissonance on Iraq

Submitted by markie, Dec 6, 2006 13:49

Kazimi claims that more people dying is only an "impression" of strife. Also that only dramatically more killers would prove that violence is rising. That is so out of touch it would be laughable if the subject wasn't death. Showing some acceptance of reality, Kazimi admits that insurgent activity has increased. But that doesn't matter to him beause the insurgents aren't holding territory. As anyone who can spell counterinsurgency should know, holding territory is meaningless for both sides in this kind of conflict. Thankfully, I did get a good laugh about how bar codes and GPS units would solve our problems. Keep up the dissonance!
