Columbia Withdraws an Invitation to Ahmadinejad
in response to reader comment: To David

You stated: "Bashar Assad and Syria, who is responsible for the TERRORIST assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Hariri." I ask you, what makes an assasination a terrorist act? Governments have been killing opposing political/government figures for some time now, using an array of different techniques. If the act of assasination is the only condition necessary to label a person/entity a terrorist, then why are you not so quick to label all people/governments who assasinate political/government leaders as terrorist? By your own criteria, does it not follow that Israeli military assasinations on Palestinian leaders are terrorist in nature? You are really using the word "TERRORIST" in relation to people belonging to movements that do not coincide with your own political world view. That blurs the meaning of the word and is irresponsible.
