North Korea Denounces Alleged Israeli Attack on Syria

Submitted by Gary, Sep 24, 2007 15:29

I would not trust the North Koreans on anything. It would make logical sense that North Korea would have a "nuclear garage sale" in order to get something for themselves, not only out of their admitted-nuclear armaments, but it would also be reasonable to put Syria & Iran as the two most likely buyers. The frightening thing is that Syria has promised to attack Israel in-kind by October 12. Why October 12? It's the last day of Ramadan, and the Koran encourages the Muslims to "attack the infidels" during the holy month of Ramadan. If they do, this could be the spark that lights the keg and it would have terrible detrimental effects throughout the world, especially if Iran gets involved. The London Times recently reported that the US airforce is already arming it jets with tactical nuclear weapons and has a list of 1,200 military targets all drawn up. Interesting...9/11, then 10/12. What do you think will happen to the world economy if the Persian Gulf and Straits of Hormuz end up being closed because of 1) war; and 2) Iran mines the Persian Gulf? Is everyone ready for either gas rationing or $12.00/gallon gas? And as we have no more soldiers to send anywhere to fight and the US military is already strained to the breaking point, are we ready for the draft? Pray for peace. The next few weeks (for those who keep track of these things) should be frightening, in deed.
