Did you see the Scott Pelley interview with Achmeinajab (sp?)? If that wasn't the voice of a media controlled by war-bent neo-cons what was it? Simply mouthing popular opinion as though it is the truth does not make it so. I have no doubt that the Iranian leader has the priorities of the Iranian culture in mind as he interacts with representatives of the United States. Why shouldn't he? For that matter, Why shouldn't Iran have a nuclear weapon if they really are trying to get one? Who determined that the United States and it's chosen retinue should decide this matter? What about the claims that the reason for the Iraq war was that Saddam Hussein had WMD's. This same pretext is now being regurgitated to justify an attack on Iran. No , the international oligarchy--including some in the United States--are seriously at work to destroy the United States because they hate the CONSTITUION of The United Sates The total collapse of the dollar--now ongoing--is the final domino needed to create a new Empire where troublesome concepts like "equality" and "the principle of the general welfare" do not exist.. Hold on for a ride into a Hell that you would never dream existed if you do not act to defend the constitution against the idea that "life, liberty and the pursuit of PROPERTY" rather than "HAPPINESS" need be the guiding hand for this nation. What Abraham Lincoln foretold would then prevail. "I see in the future a danger approaching...when the wealth of the nation is confined to fewer and fewer hands and the repulic is destroyed."

If the media were acting as independent news source they would NOT be controlled by their advertisers. Daring to print only what is "acceptable" and "non-disruptive" to their commercial sponsors.
