'Who Are We?' Iranian Gays Ask President
in response to reader comment: No homosexuals in Iran?

Submitted by Nay, Sep 24, 2007 20:03

How can we call ourselves "The Land of the Free" if we force others to believe what we believe. If muslim people dont accept gay people that is their choice. People forget that gay rights are very new to this country, I suggest not going to Iran if you are gay. One of the reaon this country is headed into third world status is because of the American sense of entitlement. The whole reason this country came into being is because of persecution of belief that ws not heald by the majority. I do not agree with the Iranian president but I do agree with right to say what he believes. American are making themselves look just like evil dictators because if you don't beleive the way they do you are obviously wrong.
