It is unbelievably callous and cruel to impose punishment on innocent little children living in the United States who might fall ill and therefore will not be treated by the hospital emergency rooms just because they happen to unknowingly be "illegal" In Britain, in welcome contrast , all children are given the same educational opportunities and treatment no matter their background or status. Sure it is a violation of human rights to treat children as intended here in the US? And can Americans hold their heads high and tell the world that all are equal in their eyes when they are willing to put children's lives at risk. These self same kids will one day be the future citizens of this greata country and will appreciate it better if they get equal treatment at an early age. It has been proved beyond doubt by educationalists and psychologists that early experiences shape adult behavior. If juveniles are treated badly then who is to blame when they turn upon the people who have spurned them when they grown into adults? We reap what we sow,,,how true is the Biblical injunction. Suffer little children to come unto me Jesus too said. So be Christian and do the right and good thing.
