I do not believe the Iranian President is completely honest and I would feel insecured in his reign but using personnal attacks by Mr Bollinger only fools ignorants and iliterates. (To set the record straight, I also feel insecured under the reign of our president Bush.) This is not what a forum should look like in academics. This preset an uncivilized way of trying to understand a leader of another world quoted by our administration as enemy. I felt Mr Bollinger's opening remarks set a distasteful mood for the "debate" and deviates his identity as a scholar. I would not complain if Mr Bollingr is a politician because they are known to used dirty comments. But being a scholar, Mr Bollinger lost his integrity. I am sure Mr Bollinger enjoyed some praises for his bold remarks though.
