Yes, the question is ,what did Mr. Bollinger learn? With his inalienable right of free speech, why didn't
he stress the repression and firings of academics, students, and the banning of books in Iran under Ahmadinejad? Why didn't Bollinger ask why there isn't freedom of religion, and equality and tolerance
in Iran? Why is he persecuting the Christians in Iran? Why does he think Sharia is superior and must be imposed on the world? Why didn't anyone counter the Madman's lies and evasions and nail him?
Why does Bollinger feel this particular Hitlerian clone deserved a format? He must have known he was going to lie and use this as a propagandistic tool for years to come, or he should have by now. After all he is the President of Columbia University.
What he might have done is have Iranians who had been tortured and fled Iran to confront Ahmadinejad.
Then, we could have seen a true revelation of what continues to be done under this despicable, inhuman,
maniacal regime.
Did Ahmadinejad receive any remuneration, by the way?
Where were the Board of Directors and the Alumni Board? There should have been some very public
objection from these boards. Where were the national collegiate organizations' public protests? Tragically,
Columbia has a great deal of company in that community, and they are teaching the children this rank garbage as you state- and the parents and our government continue to pay astronomical fees for this kind of indoctrination. What incredible ignorance and rank stupidity proliferates our once formerly, grand halls of
scholarship and learning.
No one seems to know how fortunate we who live under our ,now, continuously reviled and disrespected Constitution are in these
institutions . Shame on those who deem themselves 'intellectuals', ' privileged,' or 'educated', for they have raped each of these words of their intrinsic and revered value, as they have the concepts of objectivity and objective, intelligent discussion. To think, Columbia used to be renowned for its courses on the development and extraordinary experience and legacy of Western Civilization.
Now, the question is ,what can we all learn from what has been exposed from this experience ?
