I'm am very saddened to say Rice and Bush act like Peter Pan and Wendy in Never, Neverland
when it comes to Gaza, the West Bank, the Palestinians, and Abbas. It is nuts, and their constant drumbeat
is serving to make them them look foolish- and dangerous to Israelis and ultimately to us in the US.
She just told the Palestinians on her latest trip she refuses to abandon the Palestinian people in Gaza.
They will have a democratic state. She knows they overwhelmingly voted in Hamas.
How do we condemn Ahmadinejad as a Holocaust denier and a dictator who wants to destroy Israel,
and overlook and payout millions of taxpayer dollars to Abbas? He was Arafat's right hand man.He
has virtually no power, refuses to make concessions, to the Israelis, stop the terrorism, and meets with Hamas and coordinates with him,
while Fatah, which is the PLO, the PFLP, Islamic Jihad, etc. is continuing to plan terror strikes in Israel
from the West Bank. and fights with some in Hamas while colluding with it in other areas.
Rice and the US military attache in the Palestinian territories insist Israel hand over millions, GIVE Abbas
arms that wind up with Hamas, and open Security check points, and release hundreds of terrorists who return to terrorizing Israelis. Now, Israel hasn't a right to defend itself from the rockets, et.al.?
At the UN, I would not be surprised if Bush insists on the Liberation of the Palestinians! And reiterates his call for an International Conference, which the Saudis are balking at unless Israel agrees to '67 borders,
and Abbas says ,he doesn't know if he will show! Further, this business with inviting Syria after the last raid
which has been facilitating Saudi terrorists to go into Iraq to kill our troops is beyond all conceivable logic.
Frankly, what it looks like is Rice and Bush are playing the Saudi tune and working with Israel to destroy itself. Who are these two to lead the destruction of Israel? Worse, to insist on it? America has no better friend anywhere. What signals does this ALL send to our Arab enemies? Once Israel is gone, then, what?
I hope, I am wrong, and he speaks of the Liberation of Iranians,of Darfur's oppressed, of the people of Myamar( Burma) ,and the persecution of the Christians worldwide ,such as in Egypt, where those who are protesting for democracy are arrested and persecuted.
