The remarks of the president of Columbia University attest to the dire state of arrogance that prevails in many Western societies today - With the U.S. as their role model! How incredibly low to invite someone - A head of a state at that! And then bombard him with insults and rude remarks! This shows the alarming degree of chauvinism and blind arrogance! The West seems to be under the false impression that everything they do is right and everything anyone else does is wrong. Never mind colonialism, U.S. and zionist agressions, nazi-style mercenary organizations shooting Iraqis as if they were hunting game, torture in CIA rendition prisons around the world, torture of the worst kind in Abu Ghraib, etc, etc. Never mind that the U.S. agression against a small defensless country for the sake oil and domination has cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and devastated their country and heritage! Who ever questions that in the U.S. controlled U.N.? You see plenty reports of the poor American troops who lose their lives or who have to endure hardships in Iraq - How many reports do you see about the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who have lost their lives, homes and limbs so that your masters can get even more wealthy and powerful? These disgusting criminals are getting away with murder, while Ahmadinejad is broiled because of one sentence about gays! That's your zionist controlled media in a nutshell! As for gays in Iran, they're not at all that prosecuted as your ridiculous propaganda devices report! A Swedish commission was sent to Iran to investigate the conditions of gays in Iran because of the influx of "gays" seeking asylum in Sweden. After a year of investigation they reported that most of the charges against Iran in regards of the prosecution of gays was nothing more than a myth! And that they could not see any major evidence pointing towards that gays were prosecuted in Iran. To recieve the death penalty, there has to be 7 witnesses to the actual sexual act! The police in Iran have many more important issues to pursue than to make razzias on sexually active gays! Having said that - I'm not a fan of Ahmadinejad or the current regime in Iran, and besides I'm gay. But the position of Iran in regards to the agression and bullying of the West/zionists/U.S. is one that I fiercly defend! Iran is not the aggressor here! Iran is the victim! The U.S. behaviour is wreckless and will ultimately fire back on the U.S. in a major way! 9/11 was a horrific crime and I hope that Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld & co will stand trial for it one day and recieve the ultimate punishment! One thing you should know is that 95% of the Iranian nation stands behind its government in defending Iran's rights against the bullying and aggressions of the West/zionism! Even though some 60% or perhaps more would welcome a HOMEGROWN regime change - not a U.S. sponsored regime change! We know all about the U.S. - We know that the U.S. and Israel are conspiring to partition Iran into different nation states. But the U.S. will not succed, because as usual the U.S. , out of arrogance, has not made its home work!
