Lee Bollinger is a coward; he attempted to mitigate the public's impression of his decision to invite the enemy to be heard-when we are indeed at war... Ahmadinejad--figure head though he may be--represents those radical Islamists, who espouse and actually supply the WMD to kill Americans. He desires that America be annihilated, with our ideas of freedom and democracy. And, he, and his henchmen continue to eliminate us, not unlike they murder young men in Iran--for being homosexual--completely amoral.
Mr. Bollinger, in berating Mr. Ahmadinejad, prior to the latter's address--does not erase the former's stupidity in granting such invitation. Therein lies his leadership inability. A decision of this magnitude--was not made under duress--as to how to best save someone's life, etc.: This was made with deliberation, and its ramifications can and shall effect our nation at war, our allies, and our opponents.
