Both Senator Schumer and Congressman Rangel are hardworking legislators from New York and very liked by their state.

They should be working together not against each other because that would not be in the best interest of New York.

I was going to recommend that senator Schumer for a vice presidential nomination, but 2 yrs ago when I had a problem and contacted his office for help, he never responded to me and his staff brushed me off.

I was extremely shocked and disappointed how this high profile, popular and most intelligent senator treated me.

Finally, it was President Bush Senior, a republican who helped me!

And he never even let me know about it but I knew it was him.

Oh, well, let a sleeping dog lie.
