So what do we have here-a governor on the prowl for some political special interest support as usual, but why this issue.

Why do the American people sit here and continually watch our elected leaders sell us out like this! Bush even double crossed his own Republican base to push guest worker programs and other items he knew they were angrily and adamantly against. Why are politicians crawling into bed with "immigrants rights groups" and ignoring their own electorates? How are these groups getting their hooks into our politicians with such access and due difference and even more- big results? Most people can't get the Governor to return their phone calls. So, what is going on here?

Are the Democrats banking on large scale amnesty once Hillary is in office-register all those millions of democratic leaning Hispanics and don't offend them by one jot or tittle? I find it unplausable that the Governor is motivated by 100% altruistic principles of his conscience and just wants to help poor old little working illegal immigrants.

The worst thing here is the bypass method that has become all too commonplace in American politics. If the Executive branch won't decree what you want-you run to the Legislature. If they pass a law you don't like-you shop around for a judge to get an injunction. If the Executive and/or Legislature insitute something you play games in the court to modify it by a judge who loves to "legislate from the bench". Now, people are go so far as to have to put "the will of the people" in State Consitutions to protect it from all the above monkey business. Maybe New York will have to define a drivers license in its State Consitution as being between one American Citizen and one New York County Clerk!

God Help Us-Because the Governor won't.
