First of all you should know that you are well behind the times. After the producers refused to allow a select group to interview Manilow and he canceled the appearance and and the View cast and crew spoke, buried the hatchet and he will be on the show at some point to talk about it. In the meantime, at least four other people have refused to go on the show so Manilow is not alone.

Additionally, when you talk about his fan base, you might want to do your homework. His fans are not limited to people who "do not know music" or as some have suggested, to people on the right politically. His audiences include twenty-somethings, teens, women and men of all groups and in the professional musicians community he is known as a talented arranger, writer, orchestrator and producer who has written jazz, broadway, film scores etc.

I don't mind your disagreeing with anyone...you are entitled to your opinion. But you might want to study your facts and the latest developments regarding the issue.
