Turkish Force of 250,000 Set for Kurds
in response to reader comment: Are we friends or not?

If so, dear friends, why the KDP for a long while tried to exterminate PKK in Northern Iraq along with Turkish troops, from 1994-1998, is the very question? Cat it be rather pragmatic calculations at work other than an alleged commitment to help brethren Kurds organized under the name of PKK. KRG has been using PKK presence in their own soil as to force Ankara to come to terms--such as recognizing the emergent Kurdish (early) state in northern Iraq. It is more about realism than such a quixotic standing, I am afraid!
