Biographer Brinkley Sued To Repay Advance on Delayed Kerouac Project

Brinkley's reputation and skill as a writer is worth the wait for his book on Kerouac. I am looking forward to its publication since I know it will be great because of Brinkley's demonstrated talents and insights in previous books of history. Penguin should have been more patient, knowing that Brinkley's integrity would produce an invaluable evaluation, and will no doubt shed new light on that latter part of Kerouac's life that is so little known. That he needed extra time to pursue the facts, interview participants, and to develop responsible perceptions about his research, should be obvious, and proof that he is conscientious in his efforts.
