A Troubling Age To Come
in response to reader comment: Good news for others...

Unfortunately, there will be an ample supply of menial laborers with diplomas from the New York City Public School System. I, as an employer, look with a high degree of skepticism towards any applicant who has a diploma issued by a New York City public school. Frankly, I don't have enough confidence in those purported "educators" to believe that the graduates in their charge have basic reading and math skills. As appropriately pointed out by the may of another major United States City, Antonio Villarigossa, when addressing those who refuse to assimilate and learn English, he stated publicly: "We clean your toilets."

If that is the mentality of our elected officials, so be it. After all, with the influx of public school graduates into the labor market, these future practitioners of the "Janitorial Arts and Sciences" will be cheaper to hire.
