The shame was watching the privileged sons and daughters of America, pompous in their cocoons of elitism, rising to their feet on six separate occasions to cheer and applaud the hateful tyrant of Iran when he blasphemed and spit on America. How many of us, will from this day on, when we meet a Columbia student who attended school in 2007, wonder if on that fateful day in September, if that individual rose to his feet to affirm the lies and hate against his country spewed by a man with the blood of courageous American men and women of the same age, on his hands.
We are presented with the stunning irony of Columbia students in the lap of safety and comfort, cheering for a petty tyrant, who would kill their military brothers and sisters who are putting their own lives on the line and facing unthinkable hardships , in order to preserve the student's freedom to celebrate and encourage their would be murderer…..
