We came to New York City to help those in need,we asked for nothing we slept on the groundeach night when the Mayor Slept in his bed. iIt is more than a shame when no one wants to help us now I lost everything I had in my life not being abel to work from the effects of our Good Deeds. Please give us a chance to get back to normal.try to live on $350 Per wk.Give us Grants that ould help us or loans so we can by food nd pay our Drs.We responder who came from across the country have not even been offered travel pay to get to N.Y.C. the Judges my have hearts would they not want compensation if they were ill.We are being treated a 3rd class people why, we did nothing wrong but to help the city with giving ourself ,leaving our amilies behind for 1 month some longer now we can not even feed our childen.I ask the curts to listen to our true stories as to what we have been and still are going thru.I have thought about those Responders who have taken their own life because they could no longer provide for their families loosing their homes is just a start, Please Help us get over all of this political junk do not takeit out on us who came to help andnow we are ill.would a man take $350-to $400 home a week when they were makng that in a day of work? or would they rather be making the money they were prior to 911? you tell me.The time hascome to pay us off and let us try to live again that is all we want.just to be treated like humans who are just like you.
