As usual, your sardonic wit gets your point across!
Also, Jay Nordlinger's observation as to the use of "humanitarian" instead of "human" similarly emphasizes the complacency of democracies--who have everything, and yet want more (accolades included). Whereas, Winston Churchill espoused fearlessness; Mr. Bollinger epitomizes fearfulness--of losing support for himself...
We are indeed at a crossroads, when a presidential candidate chooses to eviscerate our coffers, with promise of $5,000 for each newborn. How humanitarian; how cruel to the future of humanity.
