Thank you Nicholas for covering a story that most others in the main stream media will not. Mike Huckabee is an intelligent, innovative and inspirational candidate. He is a consistant conservative who can rally the base (including Christian activists), and win a great deal of independent and minority support. He should be the clear choice to receive endorsement from the influential people you mention in your article. It would be a shame if they continue to stay away due to ill-concieved concerns regarding his electability. Surely they want to "back the right horse" in this race, but that shouldn't come at the expence of their values. Perhaps they should act with integrity and show their support for Mike, maybe they would be rewarded as their endorsements become the catalyst which causes the base to coalesce around him and lead him to the nomination. It's a catch 22 that I hope can be resolved quickly. As Bruce Springsteen once said, "you can't start a fire without a spark...."
