It fascinates me that for all the crap that flies in todays society. Whether it's don't pray in schools or no creche for Christmas...people can't get enough of Jesus. I sometimes think that the ACLU just claims to represent half of the country that loathes religion. The Bible is the greates seller ever (forget the da Vinci Code), which must drive them crazy, and their control-freak, narrowness of reading of the Constitution/Bill of Rights is how they angrly get back at their parents and exercise their control mania. I know they scare me at times, but there must be more sanity out there than the media would allow us to believe. To be honest, the only intrenched rigid liberals I have run into on this theme are the human resourses people at Citibank who refuse to put out a plastic mini-creche at Christmas, insisting that a Christmas Tree is a Christian symbol, unlike a menorah which we all know is just a Liberace-esque candelabra.
