McCain Fails To Mollify Critics of ‘Christian Nation' Comments

Submitted by Mike P, Oct 3, 2007 23:42

I am an Agnostic, and do not favor any religion over any other religion, but from my own personal experiences with religions, and thousands of people in my professional life, and real studies of our history, I have to agree with Senator Mcain in his remarks. He has nothing to apologize for because his comments were True Facts. Yes, this nation was founded by mostly Christians and because christians believe in tolorance, contentment, and peace, they also founded Freedoms of religion into the Constitution for the benefit of all Americans, and future immigrants. Nobody's beliefs in a god or lack of beliefs in a god and all that goes with those beliefs or non beliefs has any priority interpretations for the legitimacy of our Constitution, and our nation's original founding, and no apologies are necessary for it as it stands. This country is a Majority Protestant Christian Nation , if we like that or not.,,,,,,Personally, I love America as it is,,,Period.
