Dear Mr. Ibrahim
It seems like the only way we would progress in the Arab world is if we were facing the opposite direction. Shame on the "developed" world for not pushing through with reforms. Go ahead and grant Ghaddafi and his family major oil contratcs, praise him and sell him weapons as you did Saddam, Al-Asad of Syria and the Shah of Iran amongst others. But know one thing, feeding the beast does not buy you loyalty. The only way forward is to tie trade with reform. I understand if the Russians or the Chinese do it, but for the western world it's nothing if not a short sighted grave mistake. Shame on the US and Europe.
