Finally, someone is making sense when it comes to health care coverage. I work in a hospital and have seen first hand the attitude most people have when they think health care is "free". We get all kinds of "stupid" admissions at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 am which could just as easily, and a lot less expensively, have been seen the day before or the next day in the doctor's office. But --- since they have a medical card (or insurance) they clog up the emergency room taking resources away from people who are truly in a critical situation. I work with people who choose not to have health insurance because they are young and healthy. For them, it is not a priority. Let's try medical savings accounts. It just makes sense they would work in most cases.
