Why isn't there any evidence to prove that the amount of air pollution links to the amount of asthma cases?

It seems logical that the more air pollution there is, the more people would develop respiratory diseases, i think more experts should look into this and try and come up with proof.

Also if people came up with evidence, school children would be able to complete their coursework. As without evidence, it cannot be completed and therefore they get a lower mark.
