Good for the NYPD, get all the illegal guns off the criminals. Just leave the law abiding citizens alone. Thats the problem with gun control, it simply targets the wrong group. The decent gun owners are not the problem. So restricting them will not reduce gun violence. Just look at the most gun restrictive cities in America, they are also the cities with the most violent crime.
