Pope Opposes Guitar Riffs At Church

Submitted by Larry OC, Oct 7, 2007 02:23

Apparently, the pope has a sense of God's tastes in music that surpasses all of ours. Gregorian chant is beautiful, there is no doubt it can turn the heart toward a the holy "cleft in the rock". But so is the sound of the Subdudes singing "It's Been Known to Touch Me", of contemporary Christian musicians singing "Blessed Be Your Name" or "The Heart of Worship". When will our church comprehend that it is a significant part, but only a part of the wonderful, mystical, and eternal body of Christ?
