Ivy by definition is a climbing vine having smooth ,shining ,evergreen leaves, small yellowish flowers, and black berries, grown as an ornamental. This is what you pass off to people upon graduating from any of the Ivy League schools. With what has been coming out of those schools in the last thirty years and in some cases sixty years ago you can see why it should be called the Poison Ivy league. At least with poison ivy you only experience it one time and you become educated to know what it is and don't ned to keep testing it too see if it want hurt me if i keep trying to see if it won't. I have been calling it the Poison Ivy leaue for the last forty years. Now it seems like i might have had it corect.
