We're over there because the alternative is fighting them right here. Haven't you been listening to the leader of Iran? He hates us and everything we stand for. And he has said so in plain language. Israel is only his first target, but he wants to get us. Am I being paranoid? We didn't listen to what Hitler said either. Should we stick our hands in the sand? I don't think so.
Further, Israel didn't destroy Lebanon. It didn't even come close to that. You're a victim of the media. Pity.
