It is good to see that General Petraeus has squared off against the Iranians who are employing terror within Iraq; it remains to be seen what the resolve of the US will be. Pres. Bush, his Administration, and Congress, should never have blundered into the invasion of Iraq, that said, none of the above should deceive themselves that it is possible to work together with Syria and Iran to bring about a peaceful resolution and stable government in Iraq.

Iran's leaders (headed by Ahmadinejad), and Syria's leaders (headed by Assad), are committed to solidifying their control from Iran to Syria to Israel.... They are committed to the use of terrorism and assassination, and are intent on achieving their ultimate goal, the extermination of Israel. Israel will eventually be forced to defend itself from Iran over the objection of the free world and the USA.
